Minecraft Pocket Edition Update News

I have some more information about the Minecraft Pocket Edition .12 Update! Watch my video to learn more!

New Tools in Minecraft PE

There are also many new things you can get in the creative inventory!
    Iron Shovel
    Boats
    Snowballs
    Fishing Rods
    All varieties of Tools

This is good because this means if you need to, you can also use the tool you use in survival on creative mode! This probably won't help much but it still is cool to have a sword if you want to kill mobs in creative mode!

New Effects for Minecaft PE

There are also new status effects in the new AWESOME update! (Some can be obtainable and some you can only get by doing inventory editing) Here they are:

All Status Effects except Night Vision, Blindness, Health Boost, & Absorption.
    Only Nausea, Hunger, & Poison are obtainable,
    The rest by inventory editing.

I really like how you can obtain nausea, hunger and poison! I think this is a great additioin to the game!

Desert Wells in New Update

There are also new desert wells that will automatically spawn in your world! This should be extremely helpful if you need water for crops in the desert!

New Item for Minecraft PE

You can now have Magma Cream in your inventory in Minecraft Pocket Edition! Since it just recieved the Magma Cube, you also can get the magma cream if you kill it. The cream can be used in potions and is very valuable!

New Food in Minecraft Pocket Edition

There is also some new food that came in the new update! These are:
    Fish
    Salmon
        Both can be cooked in Furnace
    Clownfish
    Pufferfish
    Rotten Flesh

I'm really glad that they have added some new fish into the world. I can't wait for the salmon, clownfish, pufferfish, and all of the other fish to come out to consoles which actully should happen really soon!

New Mobs for Minecraft Pocket Edition

There are also some new WICKED mobs in the update for Minecraft Pocket Edition! Here's the list:
 
    Bats
    Squids
        Version Exclusive: Baby Squids
        Version Exclusive: Release Ink Particles when damaged.
    Cave Spiders
    Spider Jockey
    Chicken Jockey
    Baby Zombie

Through Spawn Eggs/Inventory Editors
     Magma Cube

I am really excited about the new baby squids which are a version exclusive. I also think that its cool that the squid releases ink when damaged! I sure do wish that some of these features would come to console edition!

New Fishing Rods for Minecraft Pocket Edition

I will now tell you about the new fishing rods! These are very cool and some of the features are version exclusives meaning that they will only be for Minecraft Pocket Edition and NOT Console or PC Edtions! Here are the properties:

   Version Exclusive: 3D Cubic Bobber
   Version Exclusive: A trail of water particles appear before a fish bites.
    Can catch garbage and treasure.

I really think it is cool how you can catch garbage and treasure with it and I also like the water particles apperance before the fish bite.

New Boats for Minecraft Pocket Edition

Now I will talk about the new boats for Minecraft Pocket Edition! I think this will be a great tool to travel with and also to just go fishing! Here are its properities:

    Can support 2 riders.
    Stronger-do not break on collision with Land/Mobs/Other boats.
    Crafting requires 5 Wooden Planks and Wooden Shovel.
    Passive Mobs can enter boat independently.
    Boats require Shovels to craft.
    Can sink underwater.

It sure is cool how it can support two riders and how it can sink underwater! I think this will be very valuable! Also some of the properties for the boats are version exclusives meaning they will only be for Minecraft Pocket Edition! As I have said before, I wish this would come to Console and PC Editions as well!

New Grass Paths for Minecraft Pocket Edition

The next thing is the new pressed dirt (grass paths). This is really cool since it is a version exclusive meaning that no other version will have this block except Minecraft Pocket Edition! This is the info about this block!

    Only 15/16 of a block
    Created by holding shovel on Dirt/Mycelium/Podzol
    Replaces Gravel Paths in Villages

It will be a lot better to see in villages rather than gravel! I wish console edition and pc edition would get it though!

New Features in Pocket Edition

I am really excited about the fishing and the new death messages. the fishing is just a fun thing to do if you don't have anything to do in Minecraft. (ex. Waiting for those steaks to cook in the furnace). I also think that the death messages will really add something cool and new to the game! I can't wait to tell you more about this fantastic update!

Hope you like this block... It looks like a dirt block but is called a path block! I think it is pretty cool!
